Why India don't/can't produce BIG?

Warning:-Before reading this article,i want to tell all the readers that its a so called criticized article and its solely my view .so no fights please. i respect my country and will always speak which is good for it.

Its one of the very basic question that has haunted me for quite a some time from now.i mean, why can't we deliver our BEST in any of the field??Why we satisfies ourself with only 80%, when we have the capability to achieve even more than 100%.??

We-after all,as a citizen of India and as an admirer of our brave,intelligent,focused minds[no need to name them].I don't see anything out of the world in INDIA say,the biggest dam,or the biggest airport .I am not saying that these are the indexes on which we count our development.But still, it matters a lot!!! These developments are made possible by regular hard work,far-sightedness,passion and of-course without corruption.

I don't want to divert this article on corruption,but i cant help,it is the root of each & every problem in India.
This year only has witnessed some of the biggest scam of the decade,not to forget CWG-2010 and A.Raja's fav 2G scam.[Its is also favorite of our opposition,this has given them a chance to demand JPC.holy cow!! this politics is just to cool :P]

yeah we come to the matter,please don't mind my sneak-peaks :P.

The whole world knows that  India has one of the most potential market,it will be not wrong if i say,one of the best,stable economies in the world.we have already seen ,how American's economy toppled,with the best investment banking and wealth management division of BoA namely-Marrill Lynch got down and many national banks got bankrupt.But when we see India, we still had our economy growing.[thumps up!!!,its good for us.]With our economy still growing(rate of 8.90%),the Indian market had loads of opportunities for the bankers,investors,and even techies!!

Infact India is the strongest candidate to be given the UNSC seat.now the question arises,that why can't that BIG happen here???
The BIG here means,any Impossible or out of the world construction,good and safe rail network or may be fastest train[a maglev train or so], the best fighter plane of world[100% made in India and better than those americans used ones].

If we see our neighboring country and one of our rivals [our government generally don't accept it],ahhh!! you guessed it right ,i am talking about China.It has done almost the most impossible things in past few years.It has one of the biggest dams,connecting bridges,more warheads than India,almost the best labor,best exporting market[the so called made in china],has almost covered indian border with a rail link,has already started showing Arunanchal Pradesh in his geographical maps.

Why can't we do anything when we know we can be in a big trouble after few years??its because we don't have a decision making capability???Or lack of far-sightedness??Or even bad, a corrupted party???Or even worse-lack of resources,funds etc??
From the above questions i agree with only the bad situation that is may be due to corruption.I don't think any other big reason for this.No doubt,as i have already said we indians have the best mind.So as far-sightedness already comes with it and also we are no longer the third world country!!

One of the famous spiritual leader tweeted long back-it was like, Indians are lazy,if they shed their laziness their progress rate will be twice than that of China's.Even I agree with him.Its not that we dont work,oh C'mon yaar!!we all know whats their in Public sector.you want your work to be done-it will be done in a sec but conditions apply.and the condition is your file must carry a 100-or even big note!! and i think we are still lacking the Killer Instinct to outperform.

So we all know where our fault is and we even know how well we can do.after all we have the 3rd largest number of engineers in the world.and yeah we can do it!!and that too with a bang.

Why are Indian Men Mad Over Katrina?

Now there are 2 ways this article can go :


1) I start singing sheila ki jawani and start humming in praise of katrina.
2) I bash her mad followers.


If you know me you should know which way i am taking and if you dont know which way this thing's heading then wtf were you doin reading this article ?  Go press the cross on top right of your screen .


I know I might draw some Flak from Katrina fans but My point is that i am not against Katrina as a individual  nor  am i a member of "I Hate Katrina Kaif " Group.Its just That i Hate to see Why Most of the people i meet Drool over Katrina's name.I hate to see Sheila ki jawani playing all over the Place and being Promoted as the "Sexeist song "(In the promo).It bugs me when Right before My Final exam's In November when i sat there in my college's cafeteria for Last minute studying all i got to hear was  "Sheila ki jawaani Dekha ?"


Ok nw on a serious note can some one plz tell me why most of indian men are mad after katrina and why the heck is skj(Sheila ki jawani) a big thing coz if u ask me even That De Dana dan song song was better than Skj.


Is she so popular coz :


-Great Actress? 
Na,there's no way she's even comparable let alone being better actress than Kareena,Priyanka and that fact is re-iterated by many of the celebrity guests that came on the Latest Cofee with Karan season.


-Super Sexy/Beautiful? 
Yeah people do find her sexy and beautiful .But out of the world? Na Aishwarya wins Hands Down in terms of beauty.

-Hot/controversial/Intimate scenes like for e.g Mallika ?
 Not really.By the way can someone plz tell me, why does she say that she is uncomfortable doing intimate scenes.Didn't she Do 'Boom' when she wasn't a noticeable actress? Ok we can excuse her saying That It's Her personal Choice


So WHAT is it then?


I think its the white colour fixation of  we Indians that's made her as big a star as she is.Now sure there wud be some of you that might argue saying that there have been many other white actresses around.why havnt they been as big as katrina?
Well for one she was introduced as the  Mr.gareebo ka superstar Salman Khan's Girlfriend (sorry Sallu fans,i Do respect him though slighty but cudnt refrain myself from sayin that ).I am nt counting the sleazy boom here
and just the Fact that u are remotely related to Salman khan let alone being his girlfriend can assure u Great PR constantly for the Coming Future.Also she's Had a Good Run with her comedy Flicks with Akshay and yes they do make a Good pair and that has given her the chances of progressing her career.

Looking Forward To Hearing from U.......

Once again i Respect Katrina(infact i have seen almost all her flicks) and Slaman khan(I just hate the fact that he does these mindless movies like dabangg,wanted when he can actually Do much better as a actor)

Winning Stroke-a childhood debate.

Well i remember writing this one for my debate competition when i was in 9th.I luckily managed to save that piece of paper containing my last writings for the competition.This one for all of you.

Secularism is Under threat?

The preamble to the constitution of India declares to be a Sovereign, socialist, secular, democratic, republic and secures to all its citizens Justice, liberty, equality andfraternity. Article 25 to 28 is a group of provisions ensuring equality of religion. By the statement that India is a secular state, we eventually undertake that all the religions are treated equally in our nation. Secularism provides freedom of conscience and free profession, practice and propagation of religion.

India is a land of many religions. There is no harm in having so many religions. But to think of the interest of one's religious community first and the nation afterwards will definitely shatter the country's unity and integrity.

History provides evidence that whenever anybody has tried to provoke religious sentiments of one's community against the other, there had been direct clash between them, resulting in death of thousands of innocent people. Although we say that our country is a secular state, still incidence had been there which puts a question mark on India's secularism. In 1947, we all know the emergence of Pakistan and India as two separate countries were accompanied by Hindu- Muslim riots killing people of both the communities.

In 1984, again as an aftermath of Mrs. Indira Gandhi's assassination, thousands of Sikhs were brutally killed. Further who can forget the Babri Masjid demolition on 6th Dec. 1992, which brought about such grave provocation of religious sentiments that there were dead bodies everywhere.

It was always advisable to forget the past, but although we don't go into history, the occurrence of the Godhra kand in the beginning of the year 2003 is a shame for every citizen of modern India.All such incidence which i have just talked about are the result of malicious ambitions of politicians who deliberately make religion an issue in politics.

The Britishers had ruled India applying 'Divide and Rule' policy for about 200 years. Now a days our politicians are almost doing the same. In order to win the elections, sometimes Ram Temple at  ayodhya is made the issue or sometimes the Kashmir is brought into the picture. in our country politicians are playing games by provoking religious sentiments, than why can't our neighboring countries do the same. Threat to our secularism is both from inside and outside India.

It is an universal truth that a single stick breaks easily as compared to a pile of sticks. A lesson should be learned from previous  incidents of communal riots, before it is too late. It is our duty to give our children a safe, united and peaceful country to live.
