To Whom Does Delhi Belong?

To Whom Does Delhi Belong? What is our culture? if marathi's have Lavani,Punjabi's have Bhangra ,what is Delhi's Dance? Well this question has often come to my mind since i have started to explore my hometown and take pride in being a dilliwala and more so since i have seen Parties Like MNS,SS in maharashtra beating innocent Indians from other parts of the country in order to win favour with the marathi's and making it out to be their war to control their land, their culture.

Does delhi belong to the chandni chowkwala's or does it belong to a South delhi wala,Does it belong to the Punjabi's or the bhaiyyas of Up or does it belong to Jaats of Haryana, and if so then what about the Bihari's?
if it belong's to the above then what of the amazing Monuments built by the mughals that we delhiwala's take pride in showing others.Monuments that every Parent takes their kids to see,i am sure most of us delhiites  remember our parents taking us around the pleothera of Mughal monuments in the city be it the Red fort or the amazing humayun tomb or the Tall Quatub Minar.Shifting focus from Mughals, which is Delhi's Favourite Hangout zone,The place we call Heart of Delhi? Connaught Place, yes our dear connaught place, which was built by the Britishers, don't we take our relatives their whenever we take them on Delhi darshan,is cp or for that matter Parliament house a depiction of our culture or of the british's?
Does any other state has as large religious epicentres as the BanglaSaheb,SisGanj,Jama Masjid,Akshardham Temple,Cathedral Church of Redemption and the Church of Sacred Heart? So then what is Delhi's religion?

Well the fact is that few Delhi residents actually belong to Delhi. The population of Delhi is a heterogeneous mix of people originally belonging to different parts of North India and beyond. The Most Prominent North Indian community is of the Punjabis, who are the descendants of the refugees of the Indian Partition. But their dominance in recent years has been challenged by the increasing affluence of other North Indian communities. Delhi also has a prominent South Indian Community, in areas like RK Puram and Munirka. The Chittaranjan Park in south Delhi is the Mini Calcutta of Delhi. And the biggest irony is the fact that the descendants of the builders of Delhi's many Muslim monuments no longer stay in Delhi. Most of them migrated to Pakistan during the Partition, with only a small, community in Old Delhi keeping old courtly traditions alive

Amalgamation of so many different cultures,Languages, people is what Symbolises the Beautiful Nation That India is and This is a testimonial to the fact that India is a Nation Of Unity in Diversity. The Fact that delhi Welcomes People from All over country With it's open Arms is Why we Take pride in Being a Dilliwala and why we Set an example for all other states to follow.Without having a Single defined a culture,a Single Language, Delhi has built for itself a Pseudo culture,a pseudo langauge consisting of a mixture of hindi, english punjabi That we speak, that people coming from all parts of India understand is WHAT SETS US APART.
